Fitness yoga is an effective and exciting “MIND” and “BODY” workout. It is a safe practice that will make you sweat and work hard, connecting breath with movement. It combines elements from HATHA YOGA, ASHTANG YOGA and traditional exercise, linked together in a flowing series of poses that create strength, flexibility, endurance and balance. Fitness yoga is about exploring your limits physically and mentally, working all parts of your body equally to create balance that will compliment other activities of daily life. My fitness yoga sessions are focused on your entire body, burn fat and tone muscle. You can also include these asanas (poses) into your daily routine for overall improvements in strength and fitness.
Block YogaWeather you are new to yoga or trying to ease your way back in,blocks are great tools to use to help you get into asana (pose) safely. Block yoga is incredible to build strength, flexibility and body alignments. Every single yogi /yogini who has just begun to someone who has been practicing for 25 years,can use them to enhance their practice. Block yoga can give support to open tight hip and thighs and helps you find balance in tricky pose.

Sun Salutation Challenge
Sun Salutation , is a practice in yoga as exercise incorporating a flow of some twelve gracefully linked asanas. My session aims to prepare you for each asana separately . I also focus on breathing pattern while introducing these asanas . I explain the name and meaning of each asana including its benefits to your body. Finally, we combine all these asanas and work on different variations . This improves overall health as this is a complete exercise in itself for your body.
Moon Salutation / Chandra Asana Challenge
It is a sequence of yoga asanas (postures) which harness and honour the energy of the moon. They are less known then their counterpart “sun salutation“. My moon salutation challenge sessions teach each and every asana individually. It helps you under stand the importance of every single asana of the flow. I also make sure you understand the breathing pattern /rhythm involved in it . Once you are fully prepared with each and every asana involved in Moon Salutation I prepare you with the whole sequence .slowly , I aim to introduce different variations with progression . It helps you to stretch all major muscle groups ,strengthens the whole body ,improves flexibility, balance the respiratory , circulatory and digestive system and also assist in reducing weight .
Warrior pose / Virbhadra Asana Challenge
Warrior pose has total 3 variations . I train my students on all these three variations from the basics to advance level. Your gaze matters in every asana and most importantly in warrior pose. This session helps to increase the flexibility in the hips, strengthen hips, and strengthens and tones the legs, ankles and feet. This also helps you to improve focus and maintain balanced body weight.
Pranayama (Breathing exercise)
Pranayama is the practice of breath regulation. It’s a main component of yoga, an exercise for physical and mental wellness. In Sanskrit “prana” means life energy and “yama” means control. In my sessions, practice of pranayama involves breathing exercise and patterns. You purposely inhale, exhale and hold your breath in a specific sequence. In my session , pranayama is used with other physical posture (asanas ) and meditation (dhyana) to maximise the physical and mental benefits to you.
